“Talk to Me” is the true story of Ralph Waldo “Petey” Greene Jr. (Don Cheadle) In the late 1960’s with all the vibrant soul music, the ever expanding social consciousness that was combining with a unique and powerful effect. It was here in Washington DC where Petey could fully express himself and “tell it like it is”. With the support of his temperamental girlfriend, Vernell Watson (Taraji P. Henson), Petey lands a job on as on air radio talk show host with his new partner, Dewey Hughes (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Over night the two become an iconic radio personality. As this continues Petey and Dewey are about to go their separate ways as the story of how the legendary iconic radio personality came to be unfolds.
